How Booking Link Import Works

Paste your existing booking page URL during setup and Nextro will pre-fill your business name automatically — no manual re-entry required.

What it does

During signup, Nextro asks whether you are switching from an existing booking platform. If you are, you can paste the URL of your public business profile on that platform. Nextro reads only the publicly visible information on that page — the same information any visitor could see — and uses it to pre-fill your business name inside Nextro.

The import is a convenience feature to save you retyping your business name during initial setup. It does not transfer your client list, services, prices, calendar, or any account data from the other platform. You remain in full control of what ends up in your Nextro account.

Important: You may only import a profile that belongs to your own business. See Your responsibilities below.

Supported platforms

The import feature accepts public profile URLs from the following platforms. Only HTTPS links from these domains are accepted.

Fresha

https://www.fresha.com/a/your-business-name

Booksy

https://booksy.com/en-gb/...

Treatwell

https://www.treatwell.co.uk/place/...

Square Appointments

https://squareup.com/...

Acuity Scheduling

https://yourname.acuityscheduling.com

Timely

https://bookings.gettimely.com/...

If your current platform is not listed, choose I'll set up manually at the import step. You can enter your business name directly and complete setup in under five minutes.

What is imported

Nextro retrieves only publicly visible information from the page — the same content any visitor could see without logging in.

Business name

Read from the page title or Open Graph metadata on your public profile page.

The business name is pre-filled into your Nextro account as a starting point. You can edit it at any time in Settings before or after going live.

What is not imported

The following are never accessed, retrieved, or stored by the import feature.

Customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or booking history
Payment information or financial records
Private account settings or login credentials
Unpublished services, internal notes, or staff information
Prices or service descriptions
Opening hours or availability
Photos or gallery images

All of the above need to be added manually inside Nextro after your account is created.

Your responsibilities

By using the booking link import feature, you confirm that:

  • 1The profile URL you submit belongs to your own business or a business you are authorised to represent.
  • 2You have the right to use the business information retrieved through the import.
  • 3You have reviewed any pre-filled information and are satisfied it is accurate before going live.
Do not import a profile that is not yours. Importing profiles belonging to other businesses — including competitors — is a violation of Nextro's Acceptable Use Policy and may result in account suspension. See also our Terms & Conditions, section 20.

Troubleshooting

URL not recognised

Check that the URL starts with https:// and goes directly to your public business profile page — not the platform homepage or a sign-in page. Copy the URL from the address bar while viewing your profile as a visitor.

Platform not supported

Only the platforms listed in the Supported platforms section are accepted. If your platform is not listed, choose 'I'll set up manually' and enter your details directly.

Profile is private or unavailable

The import only works with publicly accessible profiles. If your profile is set to private, unlisted, or currently inactive on the other platform, Nextro cannot read it. Make the profile public temporarily, or use manual setup instead.

Import succeeded but business name is wrong

The business name is read from your profile page's title or metadata, which may differ from your preferred trading name. You can edit it immediately after import in the next setup step, and any time later in Settings.

Import failed or timed out

The other platform's page may be temporarily unavailable. Wait a moment and try again, or choose 'I'll set up manually' to continue without the import.

Too many requests error

Import requests are rate-limited to prevent abuse. Wait a minute and try again. If the issue persists, continue with manual setup.

Frequently asked questions

Does importing affect my existing account on the other platform?
No. Nextro only reads your public profile page — the same page any visitor would see. Nothing is written to or changed on your existing account.
Will all my services and prices be imported?
No. The import only retrieves your business name from the page's metadata. You will need to add your services, prices, and other details manually inside Nextro after setup. The import is a starting point, not a full migration.
Can I import a profile that is not mine?
No. You may only import a profile that belongs to your own business. Importing profiles you do not own or are not authorised to use is a violation of Nextro's Acceptable Use Policy and may result in account suspension.
My profile URL was not recognised. What should I do?
Check that the URL starts with https:// and points directly to your business profile page (not the platform homepage). If your platform is not on the supported list, choose 'I'll set up manually' and enter your details directly.
Can I skip the import?
Yes. The import step is optional. Select 'I'll set up manually' to enter your business name and details directly. Most setup takes under five minutes.
Can I re-run the import later?
The import is only available during the initial account setup step. Once your account is created, you can update your business name and details at any time in Settings.
