Acceptable Use Policy

Nextro is booking and payments software built for legitimate appointment-based service businesses — including nail technicians, hairdressers, barbers, lash studios, massage therapists, tattoo artists, and similar businesses. This policy explains what types of businesses and activities are not permitted.

What Nextro is for

Nextro is designed for independent and small service businesses offering appointments, treatments, and professional services in person or online. Examples include:

Prohibited businesses and activities

The following types of businesses and activities are not permitted on Nextro. Accounts found to be operating in these categories will be suspended or terminated.

Financial services and investment

  • Unlicensed investment advice or investment management
  • Cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, or trading platforms
  • Forex trading, CFDs, or binary options
  • Money lending or payday loan services
  • Unlicensed insurance products
  • Financial pyramid or Ponzi schemes

Adult content and services

  • Adult entertainment platforms or subscription content
  • Escort services or services facilitating paid companionship
  • Content of a sexual nature involving minors (strictly prohibited)

Gambling and gaming

  • Online or in-person gambling services
  • Sports betting or prediction markets
  • Lottery and sweepstakes services outside permitted jurisdictions

Weapons and dangerous goods

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons sales or facilitation
  • Explosives or dangerous chemicals
  • Products designed to cause harm

Illegal and controlled substances

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Products that mimic or promote illegal drug use

Counterfeit and intellectual property

  • Counterfeit goods of any kind
  • Pirated software, media, or content
  • Unlicensed use of third-party trademarks or intellectual property

Multi-level marketing and schemes

  • Multi-level marketing (MLM) structures
  • Pyramid schemes or chain selling
  • Get-rich-quick or passive-income scheme promotion

Healthcare and medical claims

  • Unregistered or unlicensed medical, dental, or clinical services
  • Services making unverified medical or health claims
  • Prescription-only medication sales

Hate, extremism, and harmful content

  • Content promoting hatred, discrimination, or violence
  • Services associated with extremist organisations
  • Harassment, stalking, or coordinated abuse facilitation

Deceptive and fraudulent services

  • Services designed to mislead or defraud customers
  • Fake reviews, fake testimonials, or astroturfing services
  • Impersonation of other businesses or individuals

Enforcement

Nextro reserves the right to review, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. In cases involving illegal activity, we may be required to report to relevant authorities.

If you believe your account has been suspended in error, contact us at admin@nextroapp.com and we will review your case.

Payment provider requirements

Nextro uses Stripe Connect for card payment processing. Businesses using Stripe Connect must also comply with Stripe's Restricted Businesses policy. Where Stripe restricts a business type, Nextro does not support it regardless of this policy.
