Getting started
Everything you need to go from sign-up to your first booking. Takes about 10 minutes.
1. Create your account
Go to nextroapp.com/signup and fill in your details.
- 1Enter your first name, last name, date of birth, and phone number.
- 2Choose a username — this becomes your booking link (e.g. nextroapp.com/book/yourname).
- 3Select the services you offer: Personal Training, Online Coaching, and/or Consultation.
- 4Select how you deliver sessions: In person, Online, or both.
- 5Enter your email address and set a password (minimum 8 characters).
- 6Click Continue → to move to the membership step.
- 7Click Create account & pay. You'll be taken to Stripe to complete your £9.99/month subscription.
- 8After payment, you'll land on your dashboard.
2. Choose your username
Your username appears in your booking link: nextroapp.com/book/yourname. It must be 3–20 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores only, and must start with a letter.
Choose something short and professional — your first name, full name, or business name works well. For example: alexsmith, coach_alex, or alexfitness.
3. Connect Stripe
You only need to connect Stripe if you want to accept card payments online. If you only take cash, you can skip this step and come back to it later.
- 1Go to Bookings → Payments.
- 2Click Connect Stripe (or the Stripe onboarding button).
- 3Follow Stripe's steps to verify your identity and link your bank account.
- 4Once complete, the page will show your Stripe account as connected with charges and payouts enabled.
Stripe connected
Charges enabled · Payouts enabled
You can accept cash bookings at any time without Stripe. Go to Bookings → Payments and enable Accept cash.
4. Set your session price
The price you set is what clients pay at checkout. You receive 100% of it — no commission is ever deducted from your earnings.
- 1Go to Bookings → Payments.
- 2Toggle on Accept card payments.
- 3Enter your price in the Price (GBP) field — for example, 50.00.
- 4Click Save payment options.
The minimum price is £1.00 and the maximum is £5,000.00. You can update your price at any time — it applies to all future bookings.
5. Add your location or online join link
These details are shown to clients automatically after they book. Make sure they're set before you start sharing your booking link.
For in-person sessions:
- 1Go to Bookings → In-person.
- 2Add your gym or studio address (e.g. PureGym, Telford, TF3 4NT).
- 3Add any arrival instructions (e.g. Arrive 5 minutes early and meet at reception).
- 4Click Save details.
For online sessions:
If you prefer a static link (e.g. a permanent Google Meet room):
- 1Go to Bookings → Online.
- 2Add your meeting link (must start with https://).
- 3Add any joining instructions (e.g. Click the link 5 minutes before. No account needed.).
- 4Click Save online details.
6. Set your weekly schedule
This is the most important step for keeping your booking page live. Set your normal working hours once — Nextro fills your calendar with back-to-back slots and keeps it rolling forward automatically. You never need to manually add slots week by week.
- 1Go to Bookings → Availability.
- 2Toggle on the days you want to be available. Monday–Friday are on by default.
- 3For each enabled day, set a start time and end time — for example, 09:00 to 17:00.
- 4If you work a split shift or take a long lunch, click + Add time window to add a second block of hours for that day.
- 5Choose a session duration (30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes).
- 6Choose how many weeks ahead to fill — start with 4 weeks.
- 7Click Save availability.
Come back to this page any time you want to change your schedule, add a new day, or top up your calendar.
7. Add a one-off slot (optional)
If you need a specific slot outside your normal schedule — a trial session, an extra opening, or a one-time date — you can add it manually.
- 1Go to Bookings → Add slot.
- 2The Free slot tab is selected by default. Pick a date and start time.
- 3Choose a duration: 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes (or enter a custom length).
- 4Click Add slot.
The slot will immediately appear on your booking page. Most coaches use Bookings → Availability for their regular schedule and only use Add slot for exceptions.
