The problems you're solving

01

Drop-in classes create unpredictable income

A yoga class that charges at the door creates income that varies from week to week depending on who turns up. Students who pay upfront — through a class pack or a prepaid booking — are significantly more consistent in their attendance.

02

Popular classes fill, but the waitlist is manual

A 7am Saturday Vinyasa class might have 18 people waiting for a space that opens up. Without an automated waitlist system, notifying the right person at the right time requires manual effort that rarely happens in the moment.

03

Different class levels need their own booking flow

Yin yoga and Ashtanga have very different physical demands. A beginners' course should be visible only to new students. Level-specific classes need their own services so students self-select into the right practice.

04

Retreat and workshop bookings need clear terms

A half-day workshop at £85 has very different cancellation economics than a £12 drop-in class. Workshops need clearer payment and refund terms, communicated clearly before payment is taken.

How Nextro solves it

What you get

1:1 sessions, group classes, and workshops as separate services

Private yoga session: 60 minutes. Group Hatha class: 75 minutes. Beginners' workshop: 2 hours. Each listed with its own capacity and price.

Class capacity management

Set the maximum number of students per class. Full classes are no longer bookable — no oversubscription, no mat-on-top-of-mat situations.

Upfront payment for all class bookings

Students pay when they book. Drop-in chaos is replaced by confirmed, paid attendees. Capacity is meaningful because it's backed by payment.

Class credit packs for regular students

Sell 5, 10, or 20-class bundles. Regular students who pre-purchase a class pack are your most committed practitioners — they have a financial reason to attend consistently.

Workshop-specific cancellation policies

Set stricter cancellation terms for your workshops and retreats. A 30-day no-refund window protects high-cost bookings differently from a flexible 24-hour class policy.

Automatic reminders and rebooking nudges

24-hour class reminders. Post-class rebooking prompts. Students who had a great session are reminded to book the next one before the momentum fades.

Questions answered

Common questions

Answers about booking, payments, and getting started with Nextro.

Can yoga teachers sell class packs through Nextro?

Yes. Nextro's credit pack feature lets you sell prepaid class bundles — 5, 10, or 20 classes — at a package rate. Students purchase the bundle online and redeem one credit per class booking. It's the standard yoga class pass model, built into your booking page.

How does Nextro manage capacity for yoga classes?

Each class service has a maximum capacity setting. When the class reaches that number, it's no longer bookable. Students who arrive at a full class see no available times for that session and can choose a different date.

Can yoga studios offer different prices for different class levels?

Yes. Each class type is a separate service with its own price. Beginners' classes, general level classes, and advanced sessions can all be priced differently.

What cancellation policy should yoga studios use for drop-in classes vs. workshops?

A 24-hour cancellation window works well for regular drop-in classes. Workshops with a higher ticket price — £50 to £150 — typically use a stricter policy, such as no refund within 14 or 30 days. Nextro lets you set a different cancellation policy per service.

Does Nextro work for yoga teachers who rent studio space by the hour?

Yes. You set your teaching availability in Nextro based on when you have the studio hired. Classes are only bookable during your set hours. You manage the studio hire separately — Nextro manages the student bookings.
