Booking software for
Driving instructors
Weekly lesson bookings, block lesson packages, and test-day preparation sessions all require different scheduling and different payment terms. Nextro gives you a booking page where learners choose their lesson type, pay upfront, and receive reminders — so you focus on teaching, not diary management.

The problems you're solving
Learners cancel without notice when lessons aren't prepaid
A cancelled lesson on the morning removes income and wastes a prepared schedule. Learners who have paid upfront — particularly those who have bought a lesson block — treat their sessions with more commitment.
Block lesson packages are hard to manage with informal payment
Selling 10 lessons in a block by bank transfer requires manual invoice creation, transfer confirmation, and lesson-by-lesson tracking of how many remain. Nextro's credit pack system automates this entirely.
Test-day lessons require more time and specific preparation
A pre-test lesson on the morning of the practical test has a different purpose, timing, and pressure than a regular lesson. It may be shorter or longer than a standard session and needs its own booking process.
Matching learners to available time slots requires constant diary management
Irregular learner schedules — some weekly, some fortnightly, some before exam periods — create a complex diary that's hard to manage without a proper booking system.
How Nextro solves it
What you get
Individual lessons and lesson block packages as separate services
Single 60-minute lesson: bookable individually. 5-lesson block: credit pack at a bundle rate. 10-lesson block: larger bundle. Test-day lesson: separate service with different timing.
Upfront card payment at booking
Learners pay when they book. No end-of-lesson cash collection, no bank transfer coordination, no payment uncertainty.
Lesson block credit packs
Sell 5, 10, or 20-lesson blocks as prepaid bundles. Learners purchase the block online and redeem one lesson credit per session — the standard driving instruction model, automated.
Test-day lesson as a distinct service
List your morning-of-test lesson separately — different duration, different price, different preparation notes. Learners book it alongside their regular lessons.
Pickup location notes at booking
Add pickup address guidance to your lesson service. Learners enter their preferred pickup point, and you can review it before the lesson without a separate exchange.
24-hour lesson reminders
Automatic reminders before every lesson. Learners who might have forgotten are reminded in time to prepare — and to cancel if genuinely unable to attend.

Questions answered
Common questions
Answers about booking, payments, and getting started with Nextro.
Can driving instructors sell lesson blocks through Nextro?
Yes. Nextro's credit pack feature lets you sell prepaid lesson bundles — 5 lessons, 10 lessons, 20 lessons — at a bundle rate. Learners purchase the block online and redeem one credit per lesson booking. This is the standard driving instruction model — Nextro automates the purchasing and tracking.
How do driving instructors take payment through Nextro?
Learners pay by card at the time of booking via Stripe. No cash collection at the end of the lesson, no bank transfer requests, no outstanding lesson fees. Payment is collected before the lesson, not after.
Can I list a special test-day lesson as a separate service?
Yes. Create a test-day lesson service with its own duration, price, and preparation notes. Learners can book this alongside their regular lesson block as a separate booking.
What cancellation policy should driving instructors use?
A 24-hour cancellation window is standard for driving lessons. Full refund with more than 24 hours notice; lesson credit retained within 24 hours. For learners on a lesson block, the credit is retained and can be rebooked rather than refunded.
Does Nextro work for approved driving instructors who also offer motorway lessons?
Yes. List motorway lessons as a separate service with a different duration and price. Learners who have completed their test and want motorway experience can book this independently from regular pre-test lessons.
