Booking software for

Barbers

Saturday mornings shouldn't be a queue out the door with no idea who is next. Nextro lets clients book and pay in advance while you keep space for your walk-ins — so your chair stays full without the chaos.

3-day free trial. No commission on bookings.

The problems you're solving

01

Saturday is peak chaos and no-shows at the same time

Your busiest day is also the day you're most likely to get ghosted. Clients book a slot and simply don't come. You turn away walk-ins out of respect for the booking — and then sit waiting for someone who was never coming.

02

Regulars expect their usual time every week

A client who comes every two weeks for a fade wants the same slot, same barber, same experience. Without a proper system, they text, you reply, you try to remember, and eventually the rhythm breaks.

03

Taking card payment is awkward at the chair

Most barbershops are cash-heavy by habit. But cash limits your income to who happens to have the right amount on them. Taking card at the chair requires a reader, a signal, and a moment of transaction that slows everything down.

04

No-shows leave dead chair time that can't be recovered

A 30-minute fade slot is a small window. When a client doesn't show and doesn't message, there isn't time to find a replacement. That chair sits empty while your walk-ins don't know you have space.

How Nextro solves it

What you get

Bookable slots alongside walk-in capacity

Set a portion of your diary as bookable online and leave space for your walk-in regulars. Clients who book in advance pay upfront — no-show risk disappears. Walk-ins fill the rest.

Per-service durations for fades, cuts, and more

A skin fade takes 45 minutes. A buzz cut takes 20. A beard trim and shape takes 30. Set each service correctly and your calendar never double-books by accident.

Card payment taken at booking time

Clients pay by card when they book, before they arrive. You receive the money regardless of whether they show. Cash is still accepted in person for walk-ins — online bookings are paid upfront.

Automatic 24-hour reminders

A reminder email goes out 24 hours before every booked appointment. Clients who have forgotten get a nudge. Clients who can't make it get enough time to cancel — giving you enough time to fill the slot.

Credit packs for your regulars

Offer your two-weekly regulars a 6-cut pack at a slight discount. They pay upfront, you get the money now, and they have every reason to keep coming back.

A branded booking page, not a marketplace

Your Nextro link is your page. Not a listing on a platform where clients can see every other barber in the area. Direct booking, direct relationship, no commission.

Questions answered

Common questions

Answers about booking, payments, and getting started with Nextro.

Can barbers still accept walk-ins if they use online booking?

Yes. Nextro doesn't force you to be fully booked online. You decide how many slots to open for online booking and leave the rest available for walk-ins. Many barbers open mornings for online and afternoons for walk-ins, or vice versa.

What is the best way for barbers to reduce no-shows?

Taking card payment at the time of booking is the most effective solution. When a client has already paid for a skin fade, the financial cost of not showing up falls on them. Nextro also sends automatic 24-hour reminders, which catch clients who have genuinely forgotten.

Can I charge different prices for different barbers at my shop?

Nextro is currently designed for single-operator bookings. Each barber would have their own Nextro account and booking page. If you operate a multi-chair barbershop with different barber pricing, you would set up one account per barber.

Is Nextro suitable for mobile barbers?

Yes. Mobile barbers can list their services, set their availability, and take bookings and upfront payment through their Nextro link. You can include travel notes or a service area description on your booking page.

How does Nextro handle cancellations for barber bookings?

You set a cancellation policy — for example, full refund if cancelled more than 24 hours in advance, no refund within 24 hours. Clients see this policy before they book, so expectations are clear.
