Booking software for
Tattoo artists
A tattoo consultation is different from a 4-hour sitting. A client who cancels a half-day appointment the morning of costs you an entire day's income. Nextro takes a deposit at the time of booking — so every appointment in your chair has financial commitment behind it.

The problems you're solving
Consultation bookings are frequently no-showed
A 30 or 45-minute consultation slot — where you discuss design, placement, and pricing with a potential client — is easy to treat as optional. Clients schedule consultations as exploratory, not committed. Without upfront payment, many simply don't come.
Half-day and full-day sessions are impossible to fill at short notice
A 5-hour sitting requires weeks of preparation — stencil development, reference gathering, template refinement. When a client cancels the morning of a full-day booking, there is no realistic way to recover that income.
Custom work starts long before the client sits down
Custom tattoo design involves multiple design rounds, client communication, and reference research. Without a deposit taken at the point of booking, clients who change their mind after this investment has already been made cost you real time and money.
DMs and bank transfers leave no paper trail
A design brief agreed over Instagram messages and a £100 deposit sent by bank transfer creates accountability problems. When disputes arise, there's no clear record of what was agreed and when.
How Nextro solves it
What you get
Consultations, single sessions, and multi-hour bookings as separate services
Consultation: 45 minutes. Single session: 2 hours. Half-day: 4 hours. Full-day: 7 hours. Each with the correct duration and deposit amount.
Full deposit taken at booking time
Clients pay when they book via Stripe. A full-day session deposit of £100 or more is taken immediately — before you start the custom design work.
Strict cancellation protection for large bookings
Set a no-refund policy within 30 or 60 days for full-day sessions. Clients who book a 7-hour sitting know what they're committing to before they confirm.
Healing and aftercare notes at booking
Add aftercare preparation guidance to your booking page — avoid sun, blood thinners, alcohol before the session. Clients read this when they book, not when they arrive.
Automatic reminders for session day
24-hour and 48-hour reminders for large bookings. Clients who have a full-day sitting arrive prepared — mentally and physically.
Direct booking without platform commission
A booking link that's yours — not a platform that shows your work alongside every other tattoo artist in the city. Your art, your direct booking, your income.

Questions answered
Common questions
Answers about booking, payments, and getting started with Nextro.
How do tattoo artists take deposits through Nextro?
Nextro takes the full service price upfront at the time of booking via Stripe. For a 4-hour session priced at £400, the client pays £400 when they book. Alternatively, you can list a non-refundable deposit service at a set amount — for example, a £100 'session deposit' that books the time slot, with the remainder paid in cash on the day.
Can I have a strict no-refund policy for full-day tattoo bookings?
Yes. Nextro lets you set a cancellation policy per service. For full-day sittings, a no-refund policy with a 60-day cancellation window is typical. Clients see this policy during the booking flow before they pay.
Can tattoo artists manage both consultations and tattoo sessions through one booking page?
Yes. List each booking type as a separate service — consultation (45 min, free or small deposit), single session (2 hrs, deposit required), full day (7 hrs, larger deposit). Each has its own cancellation policy.
Does Nextro work for guest artist bookings and conventions?
You can update your Nextro availability to reflect when you are guesting or at a convention — opening slots for that specific period and closing your regular schedule. Each availability period can be managed separately.
Can clients pay the remainder of their tattoo session fee through Nextro?
The remainder can be collected in cash or card on the day. Nextro handles the upfront booking payment. A cash balance is common in tattooing and works well alongside Nextro's upfront deposit system.
